He is survived by: his wife Imogene Colwell (Campbell) of Colwell's Grocery; his sons, Mike Colwell (Holly) of Austin and Elliott Colwell (Ruth) of Columbus; and his brothers, Stokley Colwell (Ann) and Lemuel Colwell (Patricia) of London, Kentucky.. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
