He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Barger and Bertie Barger; his sons, Travis Barger and Freddie Joe Barger; and his siblings, Troy, Cecil, Asher, Bonnie, Wanda and Audrey.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Barger (Campbell); his stepchildren, Candy Lynn Hoard (Timmy) of Scottsburg, IN and Justin Scott Spicer (Becky) of Louisville, KY; his grandchild Jade Clay; his great grandchild Jaxton Brooks Barnett; and his siblings, Taylor Barger (Carolyn) of Austin, IN, Dudley Barger of Austin, IN, Neva Jean Franklin of Scottsburg, IN., Freddy Joe, Travis and Heaven.
