He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Roberts and Sally Bush Roberts; his wife Sally; his son Phillip; and his siblings, Lloyd, Orvel, Arnold, Earl, Virgil Roberts, Elsie McIntosh and Lois Morris.

He is survived by: his daughters, Patricia Roberts of Scottsburg and Teresa Carol Hamblin (Frank) of Deputy; and also Brenda Roberts of Scottsburg.
