He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Campbell and Zola Campbell (DeHart); and his siblings, Leona Bowling, Mildred Campbell, Addison Campbell and Dewey Campbell.

He is survived by: his wife Sally Campbell (Cooper); his children, Glenn Campbell (Marcella) of Lexington, Melvin Campbell (Kay) of Crothersville, Steve Campbell (Jennifer) of Salem, Kennith Bowling of Scottsburg, Sonia Pelston (Marvin) of Austin, Glenda Gwin (Tim) of Austin and Shenna Hawkins (Todd) of Austin; and his siblings, Mary Lou Colwell of Madison, Betty Hensley of Scottsburg, Viola Sego of Austin, Carl Campbell (Nancy) of Austin, Fred Campbell (Pearl) of Austin, Elbert Campbell (Lois) of Scottsburg, Leroy Campbell (Jean) of Austin and Paul Campbell (Pat) of Austin, Indiana.. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, and 28 great grandchildren.
