It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alva Adkins of Austin, Indiana, born in Hazard, Kentucky, who passed away on April 29, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Adkins; and her brothers, Elmer, Brack, Vernon, Bradley, Eugene, Kenneth, Clifton and Rollie Couch.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lori (Mike) of Sellersburg, Indiana and Edena Nease (Scott) of Austin, Indiana; her grandchildren, Tyler Gater (Amanda), Brittany Carson (Tyler), Sidney Nease, Jeremy Nease and Lindsay Neace; and her great grandchildren, Logan Carson, Logan Crabtree and Vivian June Gater.
