He is survived by: his wife Ruth Detmer (Bowling); his children, Karen Kohlan (Rick), Steven Detmer (Jodie) and Jonathan Detmer (Emily); his grandchildren, Adam, Erik, Stephanie, Cassy and Tommy; and his great grandchildren, Braden, Nora, Alaina and Maddi.
