He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Shepherd and Gloria Shepherd (Connelly); and his brother Tom Shepherd. He is survived by: his wife Vada Shepherd (Sims); his children, Alan Otis Shepherd (Kelly) of Milan, IN, Robbie Shepherd of Cincinnati, OH and Laura Frances Shepherd of Elsmere, KY; his brother Steve Shepherd (Ollie) of Dillsboro, IN; his grandchildren, Damien Shepherd, Dominic Shepherd, Dylan Shepherd and Brooklyn Shepherd; and his stepgrandchildren, Skylar Purtell, Gavin Purtell and Gage Purtell.
