He was predeceased by: his parents, Elliot "EJ" Jackson Cameron and Naomi Cameron (White); his wife Patricia Cameron; and his siblings, Geneva Montgomery and David Lee Cameron.

He is survived by: his children, David Cameron, Robert Lee Cameron (Christina), Mary Jo Cameron and Karl Cameron; his grandchildren, Justin Bowman, Autumn Cameron, Megan Bowman, Derick Cameron, Dalton Cameron, Dakota Cameron, Cassie Lowe and Tori Cameron; his great grandchildren, Jussalynn Bowman, Jaxon Bowman, Kayden Cameron, Cash Cameron, Sawyer Cameron and Maverick Bowman; and his siblings, Richard Butch Cameron and Mary Sue Couch.
