He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Meyer and Anzia Meyer; his brother Tom Meyer; his grandson Billy Backman; and his children-in-law, Amy Meyer and John Klein.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Meyer (Bennett); and his children, Theresa (John), Joe Meyer (Paula), Lori Backman (Bill), Patrick Meyer (Amy), Anna Downey (Dale) and Stacy Meyer (Angela).
