John L. Schaffer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John L. Schaffer (Aurora, Indiana), who passed away on October 23, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Rose Schaffer; and his son-in-law Kevin Mullaney. He is survived by: his children, John Schaffer (Roel Aguilan), Roseann Knue (Brian), Cathy Mullaney (Kevin) and Michael Schaffer (Lisa); his grandchildren, Emily Parisey, Laura Fogarty (Tim), Zachary Schaffer, Rebecca Maxwell (Michael), Matthew Schaffer, Kelsey Mullaney, Scott Schaffer, Evan Mullaney, Alex Knue (Jenna) and Ben Mullaney; his great grandchildren, Madelyn and Lucas Fogarty; and his siblings, Rosalyn Murphy (Pat), Dorothy Hodapp (Bill), Rev. Carl Schaffer, Robert Schaffer (Mary), George Schaffer (Janice), Jean Depenbrock (Jim), Loretta Forsythe (Howard), Jo Ann Glenn (Frank), Mary Kay Wilson (Don) and Martha Miller. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Margaret Mary Church (1830 W Galbraith Rd, North College Hill, OH 45239).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Margaret Mary Church or Queen City Hospice.
