He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Borgman and Elsie Borgman (Knenlein); and his sisters, Donna Teaney and Catherine Smith. He is survived by: his wife Marianne Borgman; his daughter Christine Meek (David); his grandchildren, Elsa Meek, Evan Meek and Elliot Meek; and his nieces and nephews, Elisa Thalheimer, Cathy Newman, Patricia Greenberg, Nancy Lemon, Cissy Smith, Chuck Teaney, Jack Teaney and Dr. Alan Smith.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the St. Mary's Catholic Church or a Mass can be made in John's Memory.
