He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry H. Blanton and Maxine Blanton (Phillips); and his brother Donald Blanton. He is survived by: his children, Joseph D. Blanton, Richard L. Blanton and Lorrie York; his grandchildren, Joseph Rowen, Ciara Solomon, TyRon York II, Josie Blanton, Sara Blanton, Grace Giordano and Julian Giordano; and his siblings, Barbara J. Bauer, Dee Rogers, Judy Getz, Nancy Couch and Richard Blanton. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
