He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl E. Scudder and Nora Scudder (LeRichie). He is survived by: his children, Angelia Schwartz (Mike), Renee Scudder and Jay F. Scudder Jr. (Abby); his brother Carroll Scudder; his grandsons, Austin D. Sturgeon and Samuel A. Sturgeon; and his great grandchild Grayson Sturgeon.
