He was predeceased by: his parents, Hipolito Acasio and Alice DeMello (Lani); and his siblings, Lawrence Lani, Jessie Acasio, Momi Acasio, Carrie Marie Poaha, Arlyne Acasio-Heinig and Bonnie Acasio.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Acasio (Bauer); his daughters, Anela Nani Acasio Schwier of Greendale, IN and Rachel Naomi Acasio of Greendale, IN; his grandchildren, Zane, Jack, Owen Schwier and Elise Bostick; and his siblings, Walter Kaiama (Kehau) of Molokai, HI, Wilfred Demello, Jr. of Maui, HI, Geri Daniels (Amos), Nora Molena (Lawrence) of Molokai, HI, Rita Yonamine (Cliff) of Oahu, HI, Marylil Tabangcura (Crispin) of Oahu, HI, Joy DeMello of Molokai, HI, Bauer and Thielking. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
