It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard C. Rodgers Jr. of Aurora, Indiana, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on December 27, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard C. Rodgers Sr. and Rosina Rodgers (Schwing); and his sister Sue Rodgers. He is survived by: his wife Linda Rodgers (Herrick); his children, David Broughton (Amy) of Lawrenceburg, IN, Melody Laird (Billy) of Greendale, IN and Mary Rodgers of Springfield, OH; his siblings, Ronald Lee "Pete" Rodgers of Aurora, IN, Cathy Rudisell (Ray) of Guilford, IN, Donna Sue Schoffner of Greendale, IN and Bonnie Stano (Donald) of Dillsboro, IN; and his grandchildren, Lana Chandler, Daniel Taylor (Kalin), Theodore Randall (Jamie), Jacob Taylor (Kaitlynn), Katelyn Hollin (Michael) and David Randall. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
