He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Royal Canfield and Anna Canfield (Meyer); his son David; his sisters, Lavonia Mead and Audrey Canfield; his nieces, Doris Kinnett (Lawrence) and Sharon Dyer (Billy); his nephew Gaylord Houze; and his sister-in-law Joan Rose (Ralph).
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his nephew Noel Houze, Sr. of Aurora; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Tim Dyer (Anita) of Moores Hill, Lynn Dyer (Kelly) of Dillsboro, Noel Houze (Susan) of Milan, Debbie Kleinholz (Greg) of St. Robert, Cindy Houze (Rick Lane) of Dillsboro and Bonita Palmer (Richard) of Cincinnati; and his sister-in-law Lois Bortmas of Cortland. He is also survived by many other friends and relatives.
