He is survived by: his wife Denise Spaulding (Dunn); his sons, Todd Spaulding (Christy) of Cleveland and Spencer Spaulding of Aurora, Indiana; his grandchildren, Sydney, Taylor, Brady and Zach; his sisters, Sharon and Shirley; his nieces and nephews, Ronda Messer (Spaulding), Lisa Snow (Spaulding), Bob Graden, Beverly Sills, Nancy Graden, Doris Anger and Justin Biddle; and his friends, Joe and Paula Meyer.
