He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cantwell and Lula Cantwell (Robbins); his wife Christina Y. "Teany" Cantwell; his son Greg Cantwell; and his sister Florence Jane Thomas.
He is survived by: his daughter Melodie Tibbits of Aurora, IN; his daughter-in-law Bonnie Cantwell of Aurora, IN; his grandchildren, Jeremy Tibbits (Melissa), Jessica Heidorn, Justin Tibbits (Angie) and Sarah Baker (Jon); and his great grandchildren, Baylin, Kaisey, Madison, Devan, Olivia, Levi, Valerie, Lucas, Riley, Hazel and Alex.
