It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ella Houze (Aurora, Indiana), who passed away on January 20, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ella Houze to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Curlin and Lydia R. Curlin (Washburn); her daughter Linda Kay Lansing (Houze); her grandson Adam Banschbach; her siblings, Daisy Curlin, Laura Jean Kennedy, Ann Croul, Blanton Curlin, Courtland Curlin, James Curlin, Charles Curlin, J. T. Curlin, Russell Curlin, Dilver Curlin, Wilbur Curlin and Robert Curlin; and her daughter-in-law Tammy Houze.
She is survived by: her husband John William Houze of Aurora, IN; her children, Donna Romans (Douglas) of Dillsboro, IN, Jackie Votaw (Joe) of Aurora, IN, Garry Houze (Gina) of Knoxville, TN and John W. Houze, Jr. of Covington, KY; her grandchildren, Endea Smith, Sarah Bedel, Josh Banschbach, Johnny Houze, Allison Schwartz, Michael Cutter, Jackie Lansing, Hayes Banschbach, Nicholas Houze and Ashley Houze; her great grandchildren, Olivia Sizemore, Parker Hahn, Brogan Schwartz, Lane Cutter, Ava Cutter, Taylor Bedel, Austin Bedel, Mallery Banschbach, Sutter Banschbach and Everett Houze; her brother Paul Vernon Curlin (Beverly) of Vevay, IN; and her sister-in-law Mary Lou Curlin of Vevay, IN. She is also survived by her great-great-grandchild on the way; her step-grandchildren; her step-great-grandchildren.
