She was predeceased by: her parents, Millard C. Wingate and Norma Wingate (Pelow); her children, Tamera Sortwell and Carl Louden; her siblings, Ronnie Wingate and Doris Egolf; and her close friend Connie Donnley.
She is survived by: her children, Carla Sabree, Melissa Matthies, William Elza, Christopher Hankins, Donedda Conner (David), Roney Horn (Dave), Carrie Karn and Shannon Louden (Crystal); her grandchildren, Tammy, Sarah, Michelle, Felicia, Bryston, Dylan, Alexis, Kaylee, Kristina, Kerri, Kellsie and Katie; and her brother John Wingate (Sevil). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
