He was predeceased by: his parents, Mamie Fairfield (Kaster) and James Fairfield; his son Randy Fairfield (Sandy); and his siblings, James Fairfield, Jr. (Cleo) and Mary Abdon (Fairfield).
He is survived by: his wife Lois Fairfield (Waldon); his sons, Clyde S. Fairfield, Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida, Richard I. Fairfield (Mary) of Aurora and Timothy W. (Beth) of Aurora; and his grandchildren, Heather Carfaro (Fairfield) of Jacksonville, FL, Sean Fairfield of Houston, TX, Dustin Fairfield (Alisha) of Jacksonville, FL, Kris Fairfield (Erin), Kara Moore (Fairfield), Nicholas Fairfield (Tabitha) of Madison, WI, Rachel Fairfield, Jacob Fairfield and Samuel Fairfield.
