He was predeceased by: his parents, Harland Cantwell and Alberta Cantwell (McFadden); and his siblings, David of Terry, JR, Danny, Tommy and Joyce Lyttle.

He is survived by: his wife Patty Cantwell (Smith); his children, Sheryl (Randy), Christan Spaulding and Michelle (Timothy); his grandchildren, Destiny, Kaylee, Courtney, Adalynn, Abigail and Waylon; his siblings, Tim Cantwell, Chuck Cantwell, Jerry Cantwell, Erma Underwood and Francine Engelhardt; and his brothers-in-law, Terry Smith, Jr., Smith and John Smith. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
