We are sad to announce that on June 27, 2024, at the age of 86, Calvin Jacob Nixon of Aurora, Indiana, born in Brookhaven, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Jack Nixon and Lexie Nixon (Kayser); his wife Margaret Nixon; his sisters, Jackie Brogran and Martha Sue Howell; and his grandchildren, Amber and Levi Scarbrough.

He is survived by : his children, Regina Langley of San Francisco, CA, Calie Nixon of Texas, Randy Nixon (Renee) of Hurley, MS, Carol Ann Griffin (Tim) of Moss Point, MS and Jacob Nixon of Marietta, OH; and his siblings, Paul Nixon of Lucedale, MS, Lonnie Nixon of Lucendale, MS and Annie Swain of Virgina. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, July 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Fitch Denney Funeral Home (455 Ridge Ave, Greendale, IN 47025). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 5th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
