With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Thayer (Aurora, Indiana), who passed away on October 29, 2019 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Zephery Carter and Bertha Carter (Sebree); her husband Steven Thayer; and her siblings, Charlie, Joe Carter and Candy Carter.

She is survived by: her children, Tamara "Tammy" Mahin (Fred) of Aurora, IN and Troy Thayer (Shirley) of Harrison, OH; her siblings, Robert "Bob" Carter (Margie) of Dillsboro, IN, Billy Ray Carter (Anna) of Hamilton, OH, Betty Dietrich (Paul) of Hamilton, OH and Mary Ann Vinson (Robert) of Aurora, IN; and her granddaughter Megan Mahin of Aurora, IN..
