It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alyce Yvonne Laker (Aurora, Indiana), born in Petersburg, Kentucky, who passed away on March 9, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eva Marie Craft and Charles Jacob Nixon; her former husband Robert "Bob" Laker; her granddaughters, Sarah and Stephanie Laker; and her siblings, Charles Nixon, Paul Nixon, Robert Nixon, Jane Witham, Donna McWethy, Ruth Moore, Dorothy Hoeping and Norma Robinson.

She is survived by: her children, Greg Laker (Jeanne) and Carol Rudicle (Mike) of Carmel; her siblings, Peggy Zimmer of The Villages, FL and Gary Wayne Nixon (David Nixon) of Winchester, KY; and her grandchildren, Nick Rudicle (Emily), Laura Rudicle, Adam Laker and Abbie Laker.

Memorial Contributions can be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, the Alzheimer's Society or Gleaners Food Bank.
