He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren E. Middaugh and Blanche Middaugh (Ash); his siblings, Harry Middaugh and Patricia Middleton; and his grandson Zachary Brown.
He is survived by: his wife LuAnn Middaugh of Auburn; his daughters, Anna "Marie" Brott (Chris) of Goshen, Rebecca D. Arterburn (Chad) of Auburn, April D. Middaugh-Kallmyer (Dean) of Auburn, Delilah I. Geiger (Shawn) of Fort Wayne and Bobbie J. Middaugh of Dayton, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Amber Johnson (Josh), Ariel Arterburn (Gauge P.), Jaclyn Spencer (Bobbi), Jasmine Fett (Travis), Danielle Landis (Ryan), Megra O'Connell (Austin), Chandler Arterburn, Jackson Kallmyer, Raeanna Smith and Natalia Smith. He is also survived by three step-grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carman's family, in care of LuAnn Middaugh to help with expenses.
