He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Wilson and Joanna Mayse (Croy); and his siblings, Kathy Miller, Michael Mayse, Richard Mayse, Donald Mayse and Gary Mayse.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Schortgen; his daughter Ann; his son-in-law Aboul Djaphar of Fort Wayne; his grandchildren, Amirland, Aliyah, Amira and Annalynn Djaphar; his brother David; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Mayse of Southpoint, Ohio, Sharon Mayse of Celina, Bernard Schortgen of Waterloo and Vicki Sweet of Waterloo.
