She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Glass and Birdie Glass (Ruhl); her sisters, Mary, Betty and Florine; and her son-in-law Larry Garrett.
She is survived by: her children, James H. "Jim" Mettert II (Kathy) of Auburn, Ronald L "Ron" Mettert (Sharon) of Auburn, Sherrel A. Garrett, Antonia R. Mettert of Auburn and Christine L. Guy (Tracy) of Auburn; and her grandchildren, Ryan E. Mettert, Kassandra L. Gerig, Kandice N. Burns, Andrea R. Cohn, Laura N. Mettert, Carla Swangin, Amy Lantz, Daniel D. Ogden, Lyhia M. Ogden and Erin M. DePew. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, several in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home (1860 S Center St, Auburn, IN 46706). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the County Line Church of God (602 Erie Pass, Auburn, IN 46706).
