With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley M. Fore of Auburn, Indiana, born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on March 26, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lovell Cole and Mable Cole (Whelpley); her husband Eldon Fore; her former husband John Grider; and her brothers, John Cole and Walter Cole.
She is survived by: her daughter Nancy; her son-in-law John Chromy of Redstone, Colorado.; her son Paul; her daughter-in-law Denise Grider of Auburn; her stepdaughter Elizabeth Leed of Carrollton, Texas.; her grandchildren, Ryan (Amanda Wolfe), Jack (Molly Wolfe), Ashley Grider, Megan (Colin Smith) and Jonathan Grider; and her great grandchildren, Leon Wolfe, Kassel Smith and Julian Smith.
