With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sally J Kelly of Auburn, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee D. Shafer and Helen E Shafer (Smalley); her daughter Jennifer L Trevino; and her brother Richard Shafer. She is survived by: her husband Clyde W Kelly; her sons, Scott K Smith of Hamilton and Michael A; her daughter-in-law Kimberly Smith of Waterloo; her grandchildren, Logan Smith (Christina), Alex Smith (Amanda), Abby VanAuken (Tanner) and Dominick Trevino; her great grandchildren, Eli Smith, Henry Smith, Amos Smith, Roy Smith and Anya VanAuken; her brother Jack L Shafer (Mick) of Omaha; her friend Amanda Mapp (Donald); and also Wade Mapp.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home (1860 S Center St, Auburn, IN 46706). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at the Woodlawn Cemetery (1605 S Center St, Auburn, IN 46706).
Memorials can be given in memory of Sally to the DeKalb County Humane Shelter.
