He was predeceased by: his wife Loretta A. Zimmerman; his parents, Warren H. Zimmerman and Margaret Zimmerman; and his brother Richard Zimmerman. He is survived by: his children, Gregory Fritz Zimmerman of Fort Wayne and Stephanie; his son-in-law Don Vonckx; and his grandchildren, Aaron Woebbeking (Kristen), Amanda Lesser (Greg) and Alyssa Bates (Ryan). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
