He is survived by: his wife Sherry Collins of Auburn; his daughters, Rachelle Shields of Huntington, Katheryn Shields of Fort Wayne and Sara Shields of Butler, Two; his grandchildren, Marcus Kimmel and Addison Shields; and his siblings, Dennis Shields of Houston, Texas., Elizabeth "Betty" Montgomery of Mobile, Alabama. and Margaret Holdeman of Fort Wayne.
