She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Fairchild; and her close friend Robert Bohler. She is survived by: her pet Ivan; her children, Adrian Fairchild of Waterloo and Valarie Fairchild; her son-in-law Andy Hershberger of Chicago, Illinois.; her grandchildren, Marissa Fairchild, Kirstin Wiliford (Jake), Miles, Finn, Tate and Wren Hershberger; her great grandchildren, Jaden, Olivia, Isabella and Everly; and her siblings, Donna Phares (Vic), Roberta Willits and Steven Wilder.
