He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Rathert and Dorothy Rathert (Newbar); his grandson Michael Roby; and his brother Ron "Sandy" Rathert. He is survived by: his daughter Julie K. Badman of Auburn; and his daughter-in-law Jennifer Failor of Fort Wayne.
