He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph F. and Mary V. Roop (Shoudel); his sister-in-law Vickie Roop; and his uncle Roger Cline. He is survived by: his children, Timothy (Julie Roop), Sherri (Kevin Lechleidner) and Amy (Chet Castator); his grandchildren, Rob Lude, Steven Robinson, Hayley Calloway, Madison McCloskey, Colin Valiton, Alana Southwood, Damon Colbart, MiKayla Colbart, Kourtney Mixon, Trevor Lechleidner, Annamarie Lechleidner and Nathan Benbow; his brother Larry Roop of Fort Wayne; his aunt Patricia Cline of Butler; and his cousin Vicki Krueger of California. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
