He was predeceased by: his parents, William Andrew and Carrie Brigham Morton (Wiley); his wife Grace Kathryn Morton (Gibbs); his son Harold Andrew Morton; and his siblings, S. Doris Bryan (Irvin), Esther L. Morton, Hugh V. Morton (Jeanice), Leah M. Teed (Jack), Edna G. Frizzell (Harold), Julia M. Curts (Emmett), Mabel L. Murphy (Francis) and Lois E. Himes (Orville).
He is survived by: his sons, Ramon E. (Darcy K. Morton) and Warren J. (Irene S. Morton); his grandchildren, Shannon Greenwood (Brandon) of Yucca Valley, CA, William Morton (Amanda) of Frederick, CO, Andrew Morton (Mary) of Ossian, IN, John Morton (Karin) of Knoxville, TN and Laura Smith (Ken) of Holland, MI; and his great grandchildren, Brooklynn Chamberlain, Hunter Henschke, Jadyn Greenwood, Nikai Morton, Mikah Morton, Matthias Morton, Peter Morton, Cornelius Morton, Leah Morton, Maddyx Morton, Hazel Morton and Jay Morton. He is also survived by great-great grandson on the way, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (128 E Main St, Lebanon, IN 46052).
Memorials may be directed in his memory to First Presbyterian Church, the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission or Wheeler Mission (Indianapolis).
