It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James W. Hatfield of Auburn, Indiana, born in Muskegon, Michigan, who passed away on August 27, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Toni Hatfield of Auburn; his sons, Scott (Paula Hatfield) of Rangley, Jeff (Lois Hatfield) of Hope and Jim (LeAnn Hatfield) of Goshen, Indiana; his stepson Blake Baughman of Auburn; his brother Jerry; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Hatfield of Houston, Texas.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the DeKalb Humane Society.
