He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Hart and Raymond Flueckiger; his former wife Mary Flueckiger (Bailey); and his siblings, Robert "Gerb" Gerber and Victoria "Vickie" Hopkins.
He is survived by: his wife Amy Loyd of Auburn, Indiana; his sons, Brian (Carolyn) of Downers Grove and Scott Flueckiger (Tiffany) of Bristow, Virginia; his stepdaughter Erin Norton (Dom) of Auburn, Indiana; his grandchildren, Owen, Sophia, Margot, Jackson, Iris, Sasha, Hazel, Louis and Jane; and his siblings, Charles "Tom" Haupert (Jean) of Butler and Cheri Beerbower (Ed) of Auburn.
