He was predeceased by: his parents, George Augustus Ells and Ruth Leona Ells (Apt); his son Allen Ells; and his siblings, George Ells Sr. (Dorothy), Wealthea Martin (Harold), John Ells (Kaye) and Nancy Miramont.
He is survived by: his daughter DeEtte; his son-in-law Steve Deweese of Columbus, Ohio; his granddaughters, Lydia Deweese, Evelyn Deweese and Sophie Fordyce (Ryan); and his great grandchildren, Colt Walker Fordyce and Ada Jean Fordyce.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home (1860 S Center St, Auburn, IN 46706). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
