He is survived by: his wife Rosaleita "Rose" Caldwell of Garrett, IN; his sons, Gilbert Caldwell Jr. of Garrett, IN and Kevin Caldwell (Lori) of Ashley, IN; and his stepsiblings, Gilbert L. Caldwell of Moorehead, KY and Violet Reed of London, KY. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
