He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ausbun and Susie Ausbun (Nicholes); his daughters, Jamie Chris Green, Connie Suzanne Fultz and Mary Beth Blackburn; and his siblings, James H. Ausbun Jr., Verla Seeman, Harold Ausbun, Freda Gustafson, Shirley Kramer and Robert Ausbun.
He is survived by: his significant other Stella "Frankie"; his daughter Dana Baker (Rod); and his grandchildren, Joseph Green (Rachel), Lindsey Green (Nick Christie), Danielle Coats (Darren), Matthew Fultz (Hailey), Kat Duggan (Chris), Meredith Fultz, Geoffrey Blackburn (Courtney), Jared Blackburn (Aisha Franceysca), Jordan Blackburn (Chelsea), Justin Blackburn (Lyndsay Malizia) of Gary Thomas and Drew Baker. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the County Line Church of God (7716 N County Line Rd E, Auburn, IN 46706). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens (2835 Flemingsburg Rd, Morehead, KY 40351).
