He was predeceased by: his parents, Quincy Ball and Mary Ball (Keaton); his daughter Deborah Ball; his great grandchild Dakoda Slone Jr.; and his siblings, Logan Ball, Jesse Ball, Geneva Prater, Freida Springer, Annie Springer, Flora Wright, Dorothy Costello and Gail Dyer.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Ball (Springer); his sons, Jim Ball (Babs) of Zephyrhills, Tracy Ball (Becky) of Auburn and Randy Ball (Sharon) of Garrett; his grandchildren, Barb Perry (Dean) of Garrett, Jamie Ball (Kate) of Kendallville, Jeremy Ball (Ashton) of Decatur, Tiya Knipper (Dustin) of Garrett, Jason Ball (Melodi) of Angola, Elizabeth McCreery (Dwight) of Butler, Matthew Ball of Angola, David Ball (Donna) of Zephyrhills, Amy Ball (Robert) of Angola, Tabitha Borack (John) of Kendallville, Gabrielle Ball (Codi) of Auburn, Brian Ball of Garrett and Sarah Johnston (Chris) of Auburn; and his brother William "Bugs" Ball (Jean) of Bluffton. He is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren.
