It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Ray Tate of Auburn, Indiana, born in Richmond, Kentucky, who passed away on April 21, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Tate and Audrey Tate; his siblings, Richard, Harold Dean, Caswell Tate, Joyce Ann Holcomb, Janet Hurt, Maxine Patton and Dorothy Wall; and his great grandchild Gracie Tate.

He is survived by: his wife Dolores Tate; his children, Gordon Tate (Lorlei) and Donna Davis (Keith); his grandchildren, Zachary Tate, David Tate, Jonathan Tate, Amanda Hatton, Ashley Malone and Elizabeth Poston; and his siblings, Raymond Tate, Wilma Tate Thomas, Maxey Tate and Gladys Spillman. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
