He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Betts of Kansas and Dorothy Betts (Hutton); and his brother Douglas Betts. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Betts (Cole); his sons, Adam Betts (Abigail), Daniel Steinman (Chevas) and Doug Steinman (Kara); his siblings, Dennis Betts, David Betts (Sharon) and Cynthia Betts (Allan Franklin); his grandchildren, Dylan Steinman and Katelyn Steinman; and his nieces and nephews, Karl Matthew Snyder, Ryan Betts (Robyn), Micah Betts (Amanda), Alex Betts and Kevin Betts.
