He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. Clayton Bishop Hathaway Sr. and Mildred Hathaway (Painter); his brother Dr. William Henry Hathaway (Sarah); his wife Carol Jean Hathaway (Ritterspach); his siblings, Margaret Ann Lieb (Richard) of Auburn and Reverend Bruce Bond Hathaway (Kristi) of Bedford, Ohio.; and his children, Bish, William Martin (Carla), David Scott (Ann), Laura Nell (Jeff Watson) and Michael Eric.
