She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert LaRowe and Mildred LaRowe (Zimmerman); her husband James R. Whittington; her son Bernard Whittington; her grandson Brent Whittington; her son-in-law Gene Gross; and her brothers, Robert LaRowe, Paul LaRowe, William LaRowe, Dean LaRowe, Ronald LaRowe and Alan LaRowe.
She is survived by: her children, Beth Gross of Auburn, Brenda Darling (Tony) of Fort Wayne and Brad Whittington (Kari) of Jacksonville, Florida; her sister Evelyn Russell (Harold) of Mancelona, Michigan; and her sisters-in-law, Tammy LaRowe of Florida and Analee LaRowe of Waterloo. She is also survived by six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
