With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carl G. Hixson (Auburn, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 7, 2024 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carl G. Hixson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Myles" Hixson and Phillis A. Hixson (Smith); his siblings, Spencer Hixson, Linda Brumbaugh and Connie Clark; and his siblings-in-law, Joan Hixson, Jean A. Howiler and David Fry.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Hixson of Garrett; his children, Holly L., Roger Creager of Garrett and Troy R. Hixson of Garrett; his grandchildren, Kylie Beverly (William), Tyler Barrientes (Hannah), Caeli Sparkman (Jacob), Alex Hixson and Michelle Zent; his great grandchildren, Bryson, Jaiden, Avarie, Theo, Mackenzie and Jackson; and his siblings, Larry J., Jeri Hixson of Auburn, Raymond A. Hixson of Garrett and Norma I. Fry of Garrett.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home (1860 S Center St, Auburn, IN 46706). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
