He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Myles" Hixson and Phillis A. Hixson (Smith); his siblings, Spencer Hixson, Linda Brumbaugh and Connie Clark; and his siblings-in-law, Joan Hixson, Jean A. Howiler and David Fry.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Hixson of Garrett; his children, Holly L., Roger Creager of Garrett and Troy R. Hixson of Garrett; his grandchildren, Kylie Beverly (William), Tyler Barrientes (Hannah), Caeli Sparkman (Jacob), Alex Hixson and Michelle Zent; his great grandchildren, Bryson, Jaiden, Avarie, Theo, Mackenzie and Jackson; and his siblings, Larry J., Jeri Hixson of Auburn, Raymond A. Hixson of Garrett and Norma I. Fry of Garrett.
