She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Lou Simon. She is survived by: her husband Joe Sale of Auburn; her children, Zachary Allen (Sophia) of Auburn, Amanda Sue of Auburn and Daniel Sale of Auburn; her stepdaughters, Sadie Sale of Canton and Shelbi Sale of Canton, Ill; her grandchildren, Ryleigh Allen, Izabelle Walter and Althea Barker; her father Richard Simon of Pleasant Lake; and her sisters, Beth Sills of Pleasant Lake and Heather Frantom of Edon, Ohio. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be given in Amy's name to DeKalb Humane Society or Community Humane Shelter of Steuben County.
