He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth W. Bell Sr. and Anna Beatrice Bell (Marshall); and his sister Lesa Dye. He is survived by: his former wife Gwendolyn K. Sammons; his wife Gwen Bell; his children, Chuck, David, Amber (Lynae Bell), Carrie (Carmen Finken) and Lilly (Chase Howard); his grandchildren, Monica Mullins and Kylie Cook; his great grandchildren, Ember Kern and Makynley Cook; and his siblings, George Bailey, Debbie Henley, Oliver "Tiny" Marshall and Brenda Daniels.
