He was predeceased by: his parents, Gloy N. Bennett and Bernice Bennett (Woofter); his sons, Kevin and Robert; his sister Marlene Leiter; his daughter-in-law Teresa Bennett; his granddaughter-in-law Brittany Weaver; and his stepfather Steve Klinger.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Bennett of Atwood; his children, Steven R. Bennett of North Webster and Penny Thomas (Steve) of Warsaw; his daughters-in-law, Brooke of Warsaw and Le Ann Bennett of Warsaw; his grandchildren, Krystal, Matt, Andrew, Michael, Alishia, Carrie, Steven, Kyle, Darin, Morgan, Melanie, Kenyan and Brody; and his sister Connie Jamison (Max) of Claypool. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
